Privacy choices

Cookie Policy.

How Ivy uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and within web-based parts of our services.

Your choices matter

Ivy uses only the technologies reasonably needed to operate, secure, remember preferences for, and improve our digital services. Where consent is required, optional technologies are not used until you choose to allow them.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your browser or device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, software development kits, pixels, and device identifiers. They can help a service function, remember a choice, prevent abuse, or understand performance.

This policy applies to Ivy websites and to any web page displayed inside the Ivy mobile application. The native app may also use device storage and software development kits as described in the Ivy Privacy Policy.

2. How Ivy uses these technologies

We may use cookies or similar technologies to:

  • keep pages secure and maintain a session;
  • remember privacy, language, and display preferences;
  • prevent fraud, spam, and unauthorized access;
  • measure errors, availability, and general feature performance; and
  • understand whether important pages are working as intended.
No behavioral advertising by default. Ivy does not currently use cookies to sell personal information or build profiles for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that practice changes, we will update this policy and provide any legally required choices before using those technologies.

3. Types of cookies and similar technologies

Strictly necessary

These support core functions such as security, network management, form submissions, session continuity, consent records, and accessibility. Disabling them through your browser may cause parts of the website to stop working.

Preference and functional

These remember choices you make, such as language, display settings, or whether you have dismissed a notice.

Analytics and diagnostics

If enabled, these help us understand page performance, technical errors, and aggregate usage. We use optional analytics only with consent where applicable. Ivy's mobile app uses Firebase Crashlytics for crash and stability diagnostics.

Local storage and mobile identifiers

The website or app may store limited information locally on your device to retain settings, protect an authenticated session, or improve reliability. Mobile operating systems may also provide identifiers and controls for notifications, diagnostics, and permissions.

4. Third-party technologies

Some technologies may be provided by companies that help us deliver Ivy, such as Apple, Amazon Web Services, and Google Firebase. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices as well as their agreements with Ivy. See our Third-Party Data Recipients page for more information.

Links to unrelated websites may use their own cookies after you leave Ivy. We do not control those external technologies.

5. Managing your choices

When a cookie preference tool is available, you can accept, decline, or revise optional categories through that tool. You can also use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Mobile device settings can control permissions such as notifications, location, and diagnostics.

Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent secure sign-in, saved preferences, or other requested functions. Clearing cookies can also reset your consent choice, so you may be asked again.

You may contact privacy@ivyfamilyhub.com if a preference control is not working as expected.

6. Retention and policy updates

Session technologies generally expire when your session ends. Preference and consent records may remain longer so we can remember your choice and demonstrate compliance. Diagnostic information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, service improvement, and legal obligations.

We may update this policy when our technology, providers, or legal obligations change. The date below identifies the latest revision.
