California Privacy Rights Notice.
Additional information for California residents about personal information and the rights available under California law.
This notice supplements the Ivy Privacy Policy. It describes categories of personal information Ivy may collect, why we use it, how long we keep it, and how California residents can exercise their rights.
1. Scope
This notice applies to California residents who use the Ivy mobile application, website, and related services. Terms such as “personal information,” “sell,” “share,” and “sensitive personal information” have the meanings given by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.
Some information may be exempt from these laws. This notice does not reduce rights you may have under another applicable law.
2. Categories of personal information
Depending on how you use Ivy, we may collect the following categories. We retain each category only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, including providing the service, protecting users, complying with law, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements.

3. Sources and business purposes
We collect information directly from you or a parent or guardian; automatically from your device and use of Ivy; from other family members who add you to a household; from Apple and other authentication or platform providers; from service providers; and from public or lawful sources when needed for safety or legal compliance.
We use information to provide and personalize Ivy; manage family and child profiles; operate calendars, chores, routines, lists, meals, wellness, community, marketplace, and learning features; authenticate users; send service communications and notifications; process transactions; maintain safety and security; provide support; analyze reliability; enforce our terms; and comply with law.
4. Disclosures, sale, and sharing
We may disclose personal information to service providers that support hosting, storage, authentication, notifications, mapping, diagnostics, support, and related operations; to other users when you direct us to share content; and to authorities or transaction partners when legally permitted or required.
Ivy does not sell personal information for money and does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We also do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 for those purposes.
If our practices change, we will provide the notices and opt-out methods required by California law.
5. Your California privacy rights
Subject to legal limits and verification, California residents may have the right to:
- know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected;
- know the sources, purposes, and categories of recipients;
- request deletion of personal information;
- request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- obtain a portable copy of certain information;
- opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising;
- limit certain uses and disclosures of sensitive personal information; and
- receive equal service and pricing without unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
6. How to submit a request
Email privacy@ivyfamilyhub.com with the subject “California Privacy Request” and describe the right you want to exercise. You may also use available privacy or account controls within Ivy.
We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority. If we cannot verify a request, we may be unable to fulfill it. An authorized agent may submit a request with proof of authorization; we may still need to verify the resident directly.
We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If we deny a request in whole or part, we will explain the basis when required.
