Your information matters
Privacy Policy.
Effective August 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ivy ("Ivy," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Ivy mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information, such as your name, email address, password, profile photo, and family or household details.
- Child profile information provided by a parent or guardian, such as a first name or nickname, age range, avatar, routines, assignments, and preferences.
- Content you create, including family notes, calendar events, tasks, shopping lists, meal plans, wellness check-ins, community posts, messages, listings, photos, and support requests.
- Transaction-related information for marketplace activity. Payment card information, where applicable, is processed by third-party payment providers and is not stored directly by Ivy.
Information collected automatically
- Device and technical information, such as device type, operating system, app version, language, IP address, and diagnostic data.
- Usage information, such as features used, interactions, approximate timestamps, crash reports, and performance data.
- Approximate location or location you choose to provide, when needed for local community features. We request device permission before accessing location information.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and personalize the Services; create and manage family profiles; enable calendars, tasks, routines, rewards, community, messaging, marketplace, and kids activities; maintain safety and security; respond to support requests; improve performance; communicate service updates; comply with law; and enforce our agreements.
3. Children’s privacy
Ivy is designed for families. A parent or legal guardian must create and control any child profile. We seek to collect only information reasonably necessary to provide child-facing features. Child profiles are not intended to be publicly searchable, and children should not independently submit personal information, make purchases, or use community and marketplace features.
If you believe a child’s information was collected without appropriate parental authorization, contact us at privacy@ivyfamilyhub.com. We will review and, where required, delete the information.
4. How we share information
We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, support, and operate Ivy; with other users when you intentionally post or share content; in connection with a business transaction; to protect rights, safety, and security; or when required by law. We do not sell personal information for money.
5. Community and marketplace content
Information you share in community areas or marketplace listings may be visible to other eligible users based on the audience and privacy settings available in the Services. Do not post sensitive personal information in public or shared spaces.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect users. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and why it is processed.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision. You can update certain account information in Ivy or contact us. We may verify your request before responding.
9. Third-party services
The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.
10. International use
If you use Ivy outside the country where our systems or providers operate, information may be processed across borders in accordance with applicable law.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the revised version with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required.
