Designed for more people
Accessibility Statement.
Ivy is committed to making our website and family hub more accessible, understandable, and usable for people with disabilities.
We include accessibility in design, development, content, and testing, and we continue to improve as Ivy grows.
1. Our commitment
We want families to be able to organize, learn, care for themselves, and connect with community regardless of ability. We work to reduce barriers across the Ivy website and mobile application and to provide reasonable assistance when a barrier remains.
2. Standards we aim to follow
Our work is guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and the accessibility guidance provided by the mobile platforms we support. These standards help teams make content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
Conformance is an ongoing goal, not a one-time certification. Features, third-party content, and assistive technologies can change over time.
3. Accessibility practices
Depending on the page, device, and feature, Ivy's accessibility work includes:
- clear headings, labels, instructions, and consistent navigation;
- support for keyboard navigation and visible focus on the website;
- semantic page structure and descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images;
- text and controls designed for readable contrast and practical touch targets;
- support for Dynamic Type, VoiceOver, and common mobile accessibility settings where available;
- plain-language error messages that do not rely on color alone;
- captions, transcripts, or alternatives for essential media when reasonably available; and
- testing during design and development, including review with automated and manual tools.
4. Known limitations and ongoing improvements
Some areas may not yet work equally well with every assistive technology. User-generated content, external links, embedded third-party tools, older documents, maps, and rapidly changing community features can present additional challenges.
We prioritize barriers that prevent sign-in, navigation, communication, safety reporting, account management, or access to core family features. We also review feedback to guide future improvements.
5. Feedback and assistance
Tell us what you were trying to do, the page or feature involved, your device and browser or app version, and the assistive technology you use, if you are comfortable sharing it. This information helps us reproduce and address the barrier.
Email support@ivyfamilyhub.com. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback promptly and will communicate available next steps.
6. Scope
This statement applies to Ivy-operated websites and mobile applications. It does not control independent third-party websites, applications, or content, but we consider accessibility when selecting and reviewing providers where practical.
We welcome your feedback
Accessibility improves when people tell us where the real barriers are. Contact support@ivyfamilyhub.com with questions, suggestions, or requests for assistance.
